About Aaron
I’m a Mountview Acting Graduate, originally from the North-East of England.
I am not from a performing background in the slightest! My mum was a nurse. I know what it feels like to look at Acting and go “is that even a thing I can do? Where do I start? A monologue from a play! Where do I find them????” . I really, really wanted to do it … but it seemed impossible, and if it was possible, it wasn’t for me.
But really, it’s actually a lot simpler than you think. It’s all there for you, you just have to learn the rules of the game!
I studied Theatre at the University of York, before joining National Youth Theatre and then going on to Mountview. These experiences equipped me with the skills, confidence and experience to teach young actors a strong, basic, flexible foundation to their work, their mindset and an introduction to the career

The most important part of your drama school audition, or any audition for that matter, is you. Your voice, your ideas, your interpretation of the character.
You can never, ever predict what they are going to want. It’s impossible. All you can do is empower yourself to be as true to who you are as you can.
My classes offer a really simple, supportive framework for young actors in their auditions. We will learn the basics of approaching a play, how to apply what you discover to the piece you’re using and how to deliver an audition that is true to you!
