About Pulkit
I am Pulkit, currently completing my MSc in Data Science at the University of Bristol, where I have worked on projects ranging from spectroscopy-based crop nutrient estimation to analysing atmospheric particle data with machine learning. Alongside my academics, I have published research on generative AI and materials analysis, building a solid foundation in both applied science and data-driven problem solving. Professionally, I have worked as a Data Scientist at Ford, developing forecasting models and analytics pipelines to improve supply chain efficiency, and as a DevOps Engineer at Nagarro, where I implemented automation and scalable cloud solutions. Beyond academics and industry, I am the founder of Byte-Sized Brilliance AI, a blog dedicated to breaking down advanced topics in AI and data science into accessible, story-like lessons for learners at all levels. These experiences allow me to combine academic depth, professional expertise, and a passion for teaching to create lessons that are both practical and inspiring.

I’ll be honest – I never really liked maths, science, or even computers at first, despite doing my Master’s in Data Science. What I always enjoyed, though, was reading stories. That’s why, during my senior school years and later in college, I started approaching every subject as a bigger narrative. Instead of focusing only on formulae or code, I tried to understand the story behind the topic – why it mattered, how it connected to the real world, and what role it played in the bigger picture. This way of learning helped me see significance and meaning in even the driest chapters, and that’s the perspective I now bring to my teaching. I don’t really put myself in the “tutor” role. I see myself more as a fellow student – that curious front-row nerd who happens to know a lot and loves explaining it. So when we sit together, it won’t feel like a lecture. Instead, I’ll take the boring or difficult parts of the subject and reframe them in a fun, relatable way, so you actually enjoy the learning process. If you are curious about how the world works and want to learn how the boring things you study in school actually create an impact let's have a chat. For me, it’s not only about covering the syllabus – it’s about sitting together, being curious, and enjoying the process of exploring the world from our chairs.
