About Arpan

I am a Master’s student who studied Biochemistry, achieving top grades at GCSE, A-Level and at university. I started tutoring while at university and I enjoyed it a lot. Not only is it interesting to interact with students from different backgrounds, I found that it was fulfilling to tutor students and help them become the best versions of themselves. It also helps me ensure that I am refreshed on the content I had learnt previously, which helps me not only as a tutor but in other aspects of my life as well.

About the lesson

With 2 and a half years of tutoring experience, students who I have worked with have all succeeded in achieving their end goal. I believe in an adaptive approach to tutoring, tailoring sessions to the specific needs and skill levels of the students. I also believe it to be important that students not only learn but are able to apply their learnings, hence why I also ensure to conduct some activity during sessions that tests the student’s understanding.
