About Edwin
I studied at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam; singing, piano, composition and guitar Since 1987 I have been teaching singing, piano, guitar, bass guitar, composition, arranging, solfege / music theory. I taught at various music schools and have my own music school for 20 years. I teach people from all ages and from beginners to professional level. I have prepared many people for attending the conservatory or music academy. My specialty is Singer Songwriter, singing your own songs, accompanying yourself on piano or guitar. Besides teaching I have a lot of experience as a solo artist and in various groups.

My challenge is to find a custom form of teaching for each student. I think technique and music theory are just as important as being able to improvise or play by heart and ear. My lessons therefore consist of all these components. I like to listen to the musical taste and direction of the student, but make sure that the quality of the lesson remains up to standard.

Excellent!
Edwin's response :
