About Zachary
I have been tutoring children and adults in music and math for nearly a decade. I love seeing students make the connections that they never thought they could. I received my music composition degree from UCSB and have been both songwriting and media scoring for 12 years. I have experience working with Sibelius, Musescore, Reaper and Logic and understand the basics of any DAW or Notation software. I spend much of my free time playing and writing music and can play nearly any instrument.

I'm comfortable teaching anything from classical music theory to modern songwriting. I believe each student learns best when given their own individual teaching styles, focused on ensuring that the student both understands the material and understands how to use it further on in their academic journey. I find I can change the classroom from a daunting experience to one that is relatable to my students. My hours are flexible, so if you are at all interested let me know!
