About Shanmukh
Hi, I'm your Biology & Science tutor — and honestly, I'm still a student myself, which is exactly why I can teach the way I wish I'd been taught.
I recently scored a 7 (the top grade) in IB MYP Year 5 Biology, and science isn't just a subject I'm good at — it's what I want to build my life around. I'm heading into the IB Diploma with Higher Level Physics and Chemistry, working toward a degree in Physical Oceanography at the University of Sydney. So when I teach Biology, you're learning from someone who genuinely loves this stuff and is chasing it all the way to university.
A few things about me beyond the grades:
- I compete in the World Scholar's Cup, where I've trained to break down big, messy questions and argue clear answers — the same skill that helps me explain tricky Biology concepts simply.
- I'm building real projects too, including a science-communication YouTube channel on ocean physics. Teaching complex ideas in a way that actually clicks is something I practice constantly.
- I love turning "I don't get it" into "oh, that makes sense!" — I focus on real understanding, everyday examples, and building confidence, not just memorizing for a test.

Hi! I'm a student who recently scored a 7 (the top grade) in IB MYP Year 5 Biology, and I now help younger students understand science the way I learned to love it — clearly, simply, and without the stress.
