About Ben
I am nineteen and currently studying Aerospace engineering at the University of Manchester. I am originally from Newcastle. I am an avid sports fan who watches most sports in my free time. I play cricket for the university's first team and have played to a youth international standard. I would describe myself as a team player and a good communicator. I am able to adapt easily and would like to think of myself as friendly and approachable whilst also remaining professional and hardworking.

To make these difficult subjects easier I like to try and apply everyday situations to contextually difficult ideas. Seeing examples outside the classroom makes it easier to remember the key points and processes.
I am also open to discussing the lesson duration as I understand different people have different schedules and feel more comfortable with different lesson duration. For example, some people struggle to concentrate for a long duration while some people take a while to warm up, so it is important to try and find the length of time best suited to the person.
I have previously tutored someone in maths GCSE. An example of how I helped them with improper fractions was by creating and teaching them how to use an algebraic formula to show how the numbers should be multiplied and divided.
My lesson can be tailored to any age but would be best for people who are at GCSE level for physics and those studying A-level pure maths as I frequently use skills from both topics in my degree.
