My name is Siyabulela Mcimeli, I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistical sciences from University of the Western Cape. I am a dedicated, hardworking and creative individual who consistently meets deadlines and is always looking for a way to tell stories or ideas from a new perspective. In University I used to love to work on challenging assessments that others avoided.
Being a Teaching assistant in a big Institution like University of the Western Cape is a great opportunity that one can grab with both hands because it is fascinating and challenging at the same time but it is very significant in someone's maturity and intelligence. When I was selected to be the Mathematics Teaching assistant I was a bit nervous but because of confidence I observe the pressure, quickly adapt, challenge my self and apply my self then I had a successful year as a Teaching assistant at University of the Western Cape.

Standing in front of learners assisting them in their school work (Mathematics) by making them to understand the contents and concepts better by showing them different simpler approach has always been my passion, sometimes I believe that everything that you give time or spend your time to, shall produce good results, so I always encourage learners that they may struggle now in terms of their school work but now the question would be what are they doing with that struggle hence there are extra programs to help them in those struggles.
