About Kacey
I am a recent graduate from Emory University, studying Art History and Philosophy. Growing up in China, I have rich interest in my culture, and my honors thesis focused on Chinese gardens and the underpinning philosophy.
I have taught Chinese speaking to many students from all over the world. They all have commented it was a wonderful experience and had great fun while experienced rapid growth in Chinese speaking and understanding towards China. I would love to invite you to join me on this journey of learning Chinese.

I will use Chinese to teach the whole lesson, only use English to explain terms when necessary, which ensures an authentic Chinese-speaking environment. The lessons often start with recap from last lesson, a new title decided upon communication, and mainly chat using Chinese. Incorrect pronunciations or more local ways of expression will be noted and corrected while chatting.
With rich Chinese cultural studies background, I will integrate Chinese art, philosophy, literature, history, and modern society into the lessons, ensuring the student to have a better grasp on not only Chinese language but the culture as a whole.
The classes are for the ones who have limited experience with Chinese to middle level and want to refine pronunciations or understandings of China.
