About Phoebe
Hi, I’m Phoebe, a 19-year-old A-level graduate and native English speaker based in Brighton & Hove.
I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Economics at A-level, and also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), receiving an A for my research on social status and inequality.
I’ve always had a strong passion for language, writing, and communication. I’m especially skilled in English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and pronunciation—all of which I now teach to students who want to improve their English for school, exams, or everyday life.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading non-fiction, crocheting, and producing music. I’ve also worked as an independent author on Amazon KDP and currently run a blog where I write about politics and social issues — experiences that have helped me develop a clear, expressive writing style and a deep understanding of how language shapes the world around us.
As a tutor, I am friendly, patient, and committed to helping each student feel more confident and capable in their English skills. Whether you're preparing for an exam or just want to speak and write more clearly, I’m here to help you reach your goals.
