About Jonny
I have a background of teaching non-stop since gaining my teaching certificate in 2004. I have worked in the biggest school in Britain for 8.5 years (EF Oxford), as Senior Teacher and Examinations Manager, and have held all positions in school - Teacher, Senior Teacher, Assistant Director of Studies, Director of Studies and have been my own boss for more than 8.5 years now. I have taught for 2 years in Poland and a short-term contract in Madrid, as well as 8.5 years in Oxford in 10 years in Edinburgh, both in local schools and as a self-employed teacher with around 20 students typically.

I adapt to your needs, and focus on the things you need help with. I teach all ages of students from children to adults. Typically I teach general English all levels (A1-C2 levels), special skills e.g. pronunciation, conversation or writing, as well as business English or well-known exams such as IELTS, or Cambridge from KET (A2) - Proficiency (C2). My lessons are usually from 1-2 hours. I have 21 years experience, including 15 years in language schools for the biggest language companies (e.g. International House, Kaplan, EF Education First), and I've been self-employed since Jan 2018, teaching mainly 1-1 online or at my home.
