About Katherine
I am a student at UCL studying BA French and Russian and I am keen to tutor GCSE/A level/IB/Beginner/Intermediate level Russian to students keen to improve their skills! I studied for five months in St. Petersburg at Higher School of Economics, and would love to help you reach your language goals.

I am a motivated and friendly teacher who is open to exploring more modern methods of teaching, so that you can tailor the classes to your preference. I believe that strong grammatical knowledge is a key basis for language mastery, but it is also important to look at media, literature, art fashion, sport, Youtube videos and social media in your target language in order to "immerse" yourself. For me, the most important thing is that you, the student, feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from them! Practising oral skills and learning to converse and build confidence in your spoken Russian is my main goal.
