About Johanna
Hallo! My name is Johanna, I’m 21 years old and currently studying Theology in Munich. Before that, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
I really enjoy working with people and sharing knowledge. I have experience as a tutor both at university level and with high school students.
I hold a C2 English certificate and have spent time abroad in Scotland and Australia (six months each), which not only strengthened my language skills but also deepened my appreciation for cultural exchange and communication.
In my free time, I love knitting, skiing, being involved in youth ministry, and I’m currently learning to play the guitar.
I’m excited to help others discover the German language and culture in a way that feels encouraging and practical.

Learning a language can be fun!
In my lessons, I take a personal approach so that you can really enjoy learning German. We will mainly focus on speaking, but we will also work on grammar and include aspects of German culture along the way.
From my own experience learning English, Latin, and some French and Spanish in school, I know how important it is to have a relaxed atmosphere where you don’t have to worry about making mistakes. Making mistakes is part of learning — and that’s completely okay.
