About Sergi
Hi, I’m Sergi. With a degree in Spanish Linguistics and a Master's in Education, my approach to teaching is grounded in structure, clarity, and subject mastery.
I enjoy helping students cut through the noise of language learning—whether that means mastering SEC marking schemes to maximize Leaving Cert points or building solid fluency for work and travel. I teach because I enjoy seeing students gain real confidence and skills, but also because I’m passionate about languages and how they shape new perspectives.

Fully qualified native Spanish teacher with a BA in Spanish Language & Linguistics, a Master’s in Education (PME equivalent), and 5+ years of teaching experience.
I specialize in targeted preparation for the Leaving Cert (Higher & Ordinary Level), Junior Cycle (Junior Cert), and DELE exams, as well as structured lessons for adults. Having designed curriculum materials specifically for Irish state exams, my tuition is strictly aligned with SEC criteria and marking schemes.
1. Leaving Cert & Junior Cycle Focus:
- Oral Exam Prep: Strategic training for the oral exam, focusing on fluency, high-scoring structures, and topic navigation.
- Written & Aural Exam: SEC-aligned essay structures, listening comprehension practice, and targeted grammar application.
- Past Papers & Marking Schemes: Systematic practice with past SEC papers to maximize CAO points.
2. Adults & DELE:
- Structured progression from A1 to C2—whether for DELE exams, work, travel, or personal interest.
