About Vernon
I have always had a love for science and maths, which has led me to wanting to pass my passion for these subjects onto my students. This has been brilliant fun so far and I can only look forward to continuing in the future. I am currently in the third year of my Natural Sciences degree at Cambridge University. At A level, I achieved A*A*AA in Biology, Maths, Chemistry and Physics with an A* in EPQ. I also have ten 9s at GCSE.

From experience, I have found that students need a chance to go over the theory in detail while also having time to get comfortable with exam practice. I like to spend the first 30 minutes going over the theory to make sure the student really understands the material. Then, we use the next 30 minutes to work through exam questions together. This way, they not only grasp the content, but also get comfortable applying it in real exam situations. I have previously tutored both A level and GCSE and I am happy to teach Biology and Maths at any level up to A level.
