About Kara
Hi, I’m Kara! I’m a friendly, creative, and supportive tutor offering lessons in English, Drama, and Musical Theatre. I recently graduated from performing arts training and have experience in dance, acting, performance, and collaborative creative environments, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of personalities and learning styles.
I’m passionate about helping students grow both creatively and academically in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Whether we’re working on English assignments, creative writing, public speaking, audition prep, acting, or musical theatre performance skills, I aim to make lessons engaging, personalized, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence and improve at their own pace.

I like to keep my tutoring sessions supportive, relaxed, and engaging while still helping students improve and feel more confident in English. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt lessons to suit each student’s pace, learning style, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I break things down in a simple and practical way, whether we’re working on essays, creative writing, comprehension, grammar, or general school assignments. I try to make lessons feel more like a collaborative conversation than a strict classroom environment, so students feel comfortable asking questions and giving things a go.
Lessons are usually around 45–60 minutes depending on the student and what they need help with.
I have experience working in creative and collaborative environments which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to connect with different personalities and learning styles.
My lessons are best suited to primary and high school students wanting extra support, help building confidence, or simply someone to make English feel a little less stressful and a lot more manageable.
