About Joyce

I focus on making sure students really understand the concepts before diving into more complex problems. My lessons are a mix of conceptual explanations, discussions, examples and practice problems to reinforce what we cover.
For IB and AP Bio and Chem, I also go over exam strategies and how to approach different types of questions. I adapt my teaching to fit each student’s learning style, keeping lessons engaging and practical. My goal is to help high school students feel more confident in math, chemistry, and biology while improving their problem-solving skills.
