I'm a recent high school graduate who's always been the "explain it again" person in math class — friends would come to me before tests instead of the textbook. That turned into something bigger: I ended up organizing and running my own informal math classes for guys my age and younger who were struggling with the material

I know it sounds simple, but the biggest difference I bring is that I was literally just where you are. Not years ago — recently. I remember exactly which parts of math feel confusing and why, because I was taught the same way you probably are now. That's exactly why I started teaching classmates in the first place, and why I ended up finding easier, more modern ways to explain things that actually made sense.
I'm not reading off a script or repeating what a textbook says — I explain things the way I wish someone had explained them to me. And since I've already run my own classes and helped people go from "I don't get it" to actually understanding the material, you're not my first student — you're just the next one.
