About Mariam
Hello! I’m Mariam — a dedicated and experienced core subjects tutor who has worked with the National Tutoring Programme (NTP). I specialise in English, Maths, and Science, and I’m passionate about helping students grow in confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.
Having achieved all A/A*s at both GCSE and A-Level, I understand what it takes to succeed in exams and how to break down challenging content into manageable, approachable steps. Whether a student needs extra support or is aiming for top grades, I’m here to guide them every step of the way.

I tailor my lessons to match each student’s learning style, as I’ve found that pre-planned lessons aren’t always the most effective. Instead, I focus on what works best for the student and take their preferences into account. I believe that skills are more important than content—when you learn how to approach a problem, you can perform much better in the long run.
