About Sebastian
I'm a college freshman with a passion for STEM and helping students tackle challenging concepts. I've been a tutor and TA for a couple of years, and during high school, I earned recognition for my work in academics and STEM competitions, including a 4.0 GPA, AP Scholar with Distinction, and leadership roles in quiz bowl and robotics. Outside of studying and teaching, I enjoy rock climbing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I tutor middle and high school students including AP-level STEM classes, and I enjoy helping students who feel behind catch up in a supportive, approachable way.
In my lessons, I start by reviewing the student's homework and preparing for upcoming assignments to make sure they are comfortable with the material. If time allows, I introduce extra practice tailored to their needs. When a student struggles with a concept, I use example problems, breaking them into clear steps and guiding the student through the first one before testing them on a similar problem.
