About Marla
I have over 30 years of experience in Healthcare. During that time I have worked as a candy striper, medical records, front desk, medical assistant, receptionist for ask-a-nurse, registered nurse, travel nurse, and nurse practitioner. I have taught numerous patients about their disease process, care, and treatment. I homeschooled my son through 2nd & 3rd grade. Currently I teach medical terminology for a billing and coding company. I love helping others. It brings me great joy to see the sparkle in someone’s eye when understanding is obtained. Fun fact: I have a 50lb goldendoodle who thinks he’s a human.
