About Molly
The first thing you should know about me is that I LOVE the content that I teach! My passion for reading, dissecting, and analyzing texts always shows in my teaching, and I want to do everything in my power to inspire that passion in others as well. I believe that there is something in the English subject for everyone, no matter what your interests are, and I am always looking to find that opening into the subject for my students. Whether we are learning about an interesting hobby/skill, examining the subtle messages hidden within a novel, or accusing characters of committing injustices, we will always find ways to make the experience as exciting and engaging!

As an English teacher, I have worked with students with so many different interests, strengths, and learning needs! My approach to teaching is always centered on the student: I am constantly looking for ways to use the student's own interests and preferences to make learning fun and engaging. I also work to meet students wherever they are academically and go from there, whether that means starting with simpler reading and writing skills and working our way up from there, or providing students with extra challenges and opportunities to use their critical thinking skills to go above and beyond!
