About Kristen
Hi! I’m Kristen. I’ve spent the past seven years working with animals as a veterinary technician, and I’ve loved every moment of it. Living on a farm has given me a deep appreciation for nature, animals, and hands-on learning. Currently, I am adding certification to teach grades 1–6, combining my love for science with my passion for helping children grow and succeed. I design lessons that fit each student’s learning style, making even tricky subjects like STEM or animal science fun and engaging. I love seeing the moment a student finally “gets it” and watching their confidence grow. My approach is hands-on, interactive, and rooted in real-world examples, so learning feels meaningful and exciting. Whether your child is curious about animals, eager to explore STEM, or needs extra support in early learning, I’m here to guide, encourage, and inspire. My goal is for every student to not just learn, but to enjoy discovering new things and feel proud of their progress.

My lessons combine practical examples, interactive activities, and real-world applications to help students connect what they’re learning to their own experiences. My ultimate goal is for students to not only understand and retain the material but to also develop a genuine love for learning, building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong enthusiasm for discovery.
