About Julia
Having designed my own concentration at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualised Study and as a Myers Briggs personality type certified practitioner, I help students brainstorm and identify a story that only they can tell. As a solo writer and performer, I teach students how to create the emotional arc of their story and use every word as an opportunity to captivate the reader.

A hobby, obsession, funny and touching anecdote, core purpose, daily routine: the floor is yours. Personal essays are an opportunity to explore and refine what part of yourself you will share on paper. I work in the entertainment industry where success is reliant on why your story matters. We will find what is specific to you. As a screenwriter, I will help you make each word count, hit emotional beats and pace your essay so the reader will know why they should admit you. 1 hour sessions
