My teaching method in three simple stages.
I teach literary analysis through exercises in practical criticism, enhancing the student's confidence in their own analytic skills and judgements. Every lesson I teach is completely bespoke - tailored precisely to the needs of the individual student.
I generally insist on reading carefully, formulating proper issues, analyse them concretely and then synthesise them with various perspectives before writing an answer.
I design my lessons based on my student. However, most writing lessons involve us going over my student's written pieces line by line and discussing word choice, placement, idea development, and everything and anything that impacts his or her writing. I can offer prompts for future writing or, if my student is working on pieces from a class, we can go over those specifically.
Thank you for reading! Diolch am ddarllen! - Which subject(s) do you teach? With regards to piano, I reached my grade 8 standard and absolutely hated my lessons when I was younger but am thrilled that I stuck them through, and now love teaching in a completely different way to how my teacher taught me! I am a keen believer that learning through enjoyment and fun is the best way, but I also...
In all of my teaching, my main aim is to let the student work out the answers, processes and responses themselves. Just like my own Oxford tutorials, I ask probing questions and encourage creativity, curiosity and logic that first an fore-mostly helps them with their subject but is transferable in all areas of academia.
I am a clear, patient and positive tutor with a Master's degree in Physics from Oxford University and a PhD in quantum computers. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Specialising in maths, physics and entrance/aptitude tests, I have tutored a wide variety of students from GCSEs and A-levels to undergraduates and adult-learners.
My teaching method is centered and streamlined to meet each students need to help them gain confidence and succeed in reaching their goals.
I will begin by find out exactly what it is you want to learn, and if you have a deadline such as an upcoming examination. Once I have established what you personally want to get out of the lessons then I'll arrange a timetable for your learning.
I have generally taught A-Level students. I identify challenges a student is facing (e.g. textual analysis) and provide them with a tailored framework to overcome these challenges over the course of our work together.
My teaching methods would be catered to the individual since I am aware people work extremely differently. I would ensure you went over the key topics of the A-level or course. I can go through essays with you which I find helps all ranges of students, in the form of either essay planning or joint essay writing.
My teaching method is essentially about dialogue and I guide the student through all the mental steps necessary to completely understand a topic, regularly checking their understanding by asking questions. I emphasise that knowledge is interconnected and open-ended and try to inspire genuine interest.
I can help with whatever is needed, but I think the most important thing in English is the ability to read a text, like a poem, and spot what other students don't. I will go through how to analyse language and text structure as well as themes, and then how to plan out and structure an essay.
I approach essays and interview preparation with a heavy emphasis on gaining a wide knowledge base that will help to tackle any new material that presents itself as well as using mock interviews. I emphasise using practise tests for admissions tests and give extensive feedback on new topics and improving speed.
I love being creative, and give learners a type of knowledge that is going to be useful in a real context. Additionally, I love to create a type of lesson that motivates the student to be autonomous and curious to continue working in building up their knowledge.

I can give lessons to high school students, help them proofread and give them advice on university applications. I'm from the American system so I know the advanced placement system well and also got into several universities in the UK.
I first like to get a feel of the student's level and their goals.
The moment of true understanding is the one I push towards at all costs. No single methodology guarantees its attainment so you have to be flexible.
I create my own lesson plans and tailor them directly to the students needs and suggested areas of improvement. My lessons are engaging and invite participation.
