About Meaghan

I've been writing ever since I can remember and that allowed me to find success throughout my education in public schools and into a private university degree. Through my education I have been lucky to learn from wonderful teachers who require skill and understanding but also celebrate exploration and thinking outside of the box. My success in academic & essay writing propelled me to a top university where I dove into creative writing circles and built my repertoire as a playwright & poet among other forms. Knowing the rules and having the tools allows you to use (and break them) with craft. My writing has gained top credit in university courses and institutional support for new play development. I am happy to be in pursuit of lifelong growth as a writer myself and would be thrilled to share in that process with you & help you along your English journey!

Writing is so fun! And sometimes the need to do well can prevent us from having fun while doing it. As your tutor, I will make sure we get your work to a proficient level while also enjoying the creativity and expansiveness of English. Depending on the needs of the student, we will engage in practice exercises, look at your specific assignments, break down rules/concepts, and then build our skills back up. You will gain practical tools and knowledge as well as a spirit for curiosity and exploration with the English language. Lessons can be tailored to students in middle-grades through high school and those in regular, honors or AP subjects. Let's have fun and gain some knowledge!
