About Neil
The guitar has been a 'way of life' for me from the age of 4yrs old when I first got my little mitts on a small blue & white plastic toy guitar. From then, I was hooked !! I did my first 'studio session' at the age of 13 and throughout my life my guitars have been my best friends, 'crutch' and 'partners'. I have toured the UK, Europe & The States, featured on albums and singles, appeared on radio & T.V and supported many bands on many stages . So, as well as being a competent guitarist I have over 40 years experience in the 'musical jungle' which I am more than happy to share. As well as 'session' work I am, at the moment working on my own project ' GuitarSoundscape', putting guitar music to 'visuals'.

When teaching a student I believe that the most important thing for the student is to have fun, It's not a task. Students, of all ages, learn at different rates but, ultimately, what we all want to do is learn a song; a tune that we know. So, let's do that! After that wonderful achievement everything slowly falls into place, you can relate to the instrument and eventually all the 'patterns' become second nature. If it's not fun........there's no point! My first lesson is ALWAYS free. That way we know if we're following the path that we want without any deep commitment. I love nothing better than passing on my passion and skill to someone who is eager to learn.

Neil has been teaching me guitar for a few years now and he is brilliant. Not only does he teach guitar but his experience and insight into the music industry is invaluable for anyone hoping to be either a solo artist or part of a band. What a lovely man, highly recommend.
I really recommend clases with Neil. I am dyslexic and get very confused but neil is super patient with me and I have learnt more than I have ever hoped to. I really recommend him as a teacher :)
