About Safaa
My name is Safaa, and I have a strong interest in English literature and a passion for helping others improve their skills and confidence in English. I am a dedicated and approachable tutor who enjoys teaching students of different ages and abilities, supporting them in reaching their full potential.
I achieved Grade 8 in both GCSE English Language and English Literature, which is equivalent to a high A/A*, and I have a strong understanding of the current curriculum and exam skills needed for success. I aim to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and encouraged to improve.

My approach to tutoring is focused on creating engaging, structured lessons that help students build confidence and improve their skills at their own pace. Lessons are delivered online via Zoom using interactive PowerPoint presentations, which allow concepts to be explained clearly and visually.
At the beginning of each lesson, students complete a short warm-up activity to recap previous learning and identify any areas that need further support. We then move into the main lesson content, followed by practice questions and activities to reinforce understanding. Throughout lessons, I provide continuous feedback to students, and parents can also receive regular updates on progress and areas for improvement.
Lessons typically last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the student's needs and goals.
As a recent GCSE graduate, I achieved Grade 8 in both GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature, which is equivalent to a high A/A* under the previous GCSE grading system. This demonstrates a strong understanding of the current curriculum and exam requirements. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I can offer up-to-date knowledge, effective revision techniques, and relatable guidance for students preparing for their exams.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE students studying English Language and English Literature, as well as primary school students who would like support with reading, spelling, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and general literacy skills. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and reaching their full potential.
