About Jian
I’m a qualified Osteopath based in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Osteopathy from Victoria University. I currently practice as both an osteopath and myotherapist, and I tutor students studying anatomy, physiology and health sciences.
During my studies I realized how overwhelming anatomy and physiology can feel, especially in block mode where large amounts of content are delivered quickly. To manage this I developed my own way of studying that made the material easier to understand and actually stick. I focused on creating visual notes, simplifying complex topics and connecting concepts across systems so the information made sense rather than feeling like endless memorization.
That approach not only helped me achieve strong grades, but the knowledge stayed with me well beyond the exam. I was able to carry it into later subjects and into clinical practice, which really strengthened my understanding over time. Throughout my studies at Victoria University I became well known among classmates for the notes and summaries I created, and I realized I genuinely enjoy helping other students make sense of difficult material.
I’m patient, supportive and probably a bit of a nerd when it comes to anatomy and the human body. I provide structured notes, summaries and visual study material to help students organize large amounts of information and feel more confident going into exams and practical assessments.
Outside of work I love traveling. I enjoyed Italy so much that I registered there as an osteopath and now practice between Melbourne and Milan. When I’m not in clinic you will usually find me traveling, spending time in nature or hanging out with my French bulldog Morris.

My lessons focus on helping students truly understand health science concepts rather than simply memorizing information. Subjects like anatomy, physiology and pathology can feel overwhelming because of the amount of content involved, but when the core concepts are clear, the material becomes far easier to organize and recall.
As a practicing osteopath and myotherapist in Melbourne, I bring real clinical experience into my teaching. I help students connect theory to practice using clinical examples, simplified explanations and visual learning techniques that make complex topics easier to understand.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, with longer sessions available for exam preparation or intensive revision. Sessions are interactive and structured around the student’s needs, and often include working through diagrams, building clear study frameworks and applying theory to clinical scenarios.
I also provide structured study materials, including:
