About Vivian
Why am I your preferred online tutor? I am a dedicated literacy teacher with a strong track record of helping kindergarten and primary-aged learners (ages 5–11) become confident readers and writers. I hold a BA in English, I am TESOL certified, TRCN registered, and Jolly Phonics trained; combining formal qualifications with practical teaching experience.
I am committed to creating a supportive and professional learning environment where every child feels encouraged, challenged, and able to achieve their best.

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and learner-centred. I focus on building strong literacy foundations through clear explanations, guided practice, and regular checks for understanding. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s level and learning needs.
I use phonics-based instruction, guided reading, and step-by-step support for grammar and writing. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, with shorter sessions available for younger learners.
I hold a BA in English, I am TESOL certified, TRCN registered, and Jolly Phonics trained, with experience supporting kindergarten, primary learners (KS1–KS2) and ESL students.
My lessons are suitable for children aged 4–11, early readers, learners needing literacy support, and ESL pupils building confidence in English.
