About Reed
I have over 20 years as a professional musician and educator and I love sharing what I've gained from my experiences to help develop drummers and percussionists of all ages. Education: Master's of Music in Percussion Performance and BA in Music Business. Currently adjunct music faculty at Southern Oregon University. Resident percussionist with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Percussionist with the Rogue Valley Symphony. Active performer in many ensembles including Latin/jazz groups, salsa bands, pop/rock, Caribbean steel pan, Zimbabwean marimba, Hawaiian and others.

My aim is to help students grow. Many of my students have different goals and I get joy from leading each student along their musical and percussive journey's.
I focus on musicality, rhythmic timing, technique, independence, balance and fluidity.
