About Anna
I am tutoring all levels of Biology - the subject that I am studying at the University of Oxford. Needles to say, it is my greatest passion and I love it with all my heart which I try to convey through my lessons. I want to share my passion with every student I teach, so that our lessons can be a lot of fun. I know that the key to learning Biology is a thorough understanding, rather than memorising isolated facts.

My lessons are as engaging as possible, I always make sure that the student does most of the talking - you will be surprised how much you know and can deduce with my help and guidance! Arriving at conclusions yourself is the best way to understand and remember processes - this is how they teach us at Oxford and this is how I will teach you. We will begin with a quick check of your idea of the topic, and then proceed through each of the chapters, unravelling the complexity of the subject. Be prepared to be pushed - I'm going to draw your attention to details and ask you to do some explaining as we go along. After a short summary of what we've covered I will send you past paper questions - I expect you to work through them and send me the answers prior to our next meeting. You receive feedback and grading and we begin the lesson with a quick commentary on your work, so that I am sure you stay on top of the material.
