About Taliesin
My name is Tal, I'm a self-employed data scientist who works very flexible hours and I have been tutoring through various websites for over a decade. My love of teaching first sprang from a two-year Gap year in Tanzania where I taught A Level maths and physics at 18. I was promoted to head of department within six months still at 18 and to date it was my favourite job! Despite adverse conditions and many students not speaking good English. We were able to achieve the highest rate of A/A*s in the school's history and my record since then tutoring both in person and online has also been excellent.

I will first look to find out the knowledge the student already has before tutoring using a friendly and dynamic approach. I like to explain using numerous methods including diagrams or drawings where appropriate. I can tutor up to and including A Level mathematics, further mathematics and Physics. As well as Oxbridge entrance exam prep. I have experience teaching all ages and also students with learning difficulties.
