About Damayanti
I am second year Oxford student doing a quantitative PPE degree that requires me to take exams in calculus, logic and statistics. At school I struggled to hit the top grades in maths at GCSE at A-level but I am now studying exactly what I studied then at university level at Oxford. I know how hard it is to struggle with maths but I have since learnt exactly how to hit full marks on maths questions with confidence, meaning I'm well-placed to help people who are struggling with maths and their confidence in the subject at school now.

I ask my students to bring in the questions that they have done at school and the topics they have struggled with. In lessons we will go over how to do them until they understand the underlying theory. At this point I will give them harder questions we will work through together, with the end result being that their weakest topics become their strongest topics. I systematically work through the syllabus with them in this fashion until they are confident about all types of questions that come up on exams
