A highly motivated and dedicated student Of mechanical engineering with extensive tutoring experience in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics. I’ve been teaching these subjects privately to GCSE/O-LEVEL and Alevel students from 4 years now helping 100's of students achieve their academic goals. I on average manage to get my students achieve 2 grades higher than their predicted grades..
As a result of this exposure to so many different ways of learning, my own teaching style is varied and adaptable. I teach each student differently, catering to their different styles of learning and changing how I express the content in order to ensure that the student learns the content thoroughly.
I am a Sixth Former studying at Tiffin Grammar School and I will give lessons in Maths for GCSE students. I have an energetic teaching style and will begin by systematically working through the specification, topic by topic, after this I can go through any difficult topics in a greater level of detail, with more examples and higher level questions.
I have past experice in tutoring students who have acheived good GCSE grades. I have done so by only focusing my tutoring on the topics students do not understand. I am quick to get to the point but do so by asking questions that allow students to think and try to get to an answer themselves.
In mathematics, I approach each topic by learning the rules and steps required in order to solve a certain problem. This is exactly what I would expect my student to be able to do as well; with the right guidance, this can be achieved. Lesson Structure: 1. Talk student through the topic and explain the concepts and rules needed to solve the problems at hand. 2.
I have a Bachelors with Honours Degree in Mathematics and can teach the following topics: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Arithmetic, Analysis (Real and Complex), Number Theory, Logic, Set Theory, Differential Equations (Ordinary and Partial), Linear Algebra, Basic Statistics and Probability, Numerical Methods and Knot Theory (which I did my Bachelors dissertation on).
My teaching method is to work closely with the student on a personal level and find out where they’re at with their education. I find out where their weaknesses are and base the lessons on these topics. I have been tutoring students for over a year in maths GCSE as well as younger years. I am currently taking maths for A-level and got an A* in higher Maths for GCSE.
I like to first build a strong foundation for my students and slowly introduce more difficult concepts as they become more confident.
For maths, my skills can cater for anyone between Years 7-13. I always start ground-up, from the textbook. Whichever syllabus, or for whatever topic a student is struggling at, laying the mathematical foundation is important. First theory, then practice. Understanding the mechanics behind a question is key to a high mark.
My teaching methodology is a very simple 2 step process: 1) Help the student understand the topic well. This involves explaining concepts; answering any questions the student may have and clearing any confusion that the student has. 2) Put the understanding into practice. This involves going through questions in textbooks; homework assignments and past papers.
I recently finished an A Level in Physics and I am able to tutor GCSE and A Level students. I am kind and keen to help out with any problems students have with Physics. Students are in charge with how they wish the lesson to be carried out. It can take the form of a Q and A session or a detailed overview of a particular topic.
For GCSE and A level students, I will mainly be teaching mathematics and physics. However, for KS3 students and below I believe I am highly proficient in all the skills required for teaching all academic subjects.
My teaching methodology depends types of learners: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. Each learning type responds best to a different method of teaching. Auditory learners will remember information best after reciting it back to the presenter, while kinesthetic learners will jump at the chance to participate in a hands-on activity.
I like to make sure that the easier topics and the basics are covered first and then move on to harder topics so the student can have more time learning it, also I believe in regular assessments to measure my students progress.
My teaching expertise lies with GCSE students. Students in younger years are also welcomed. My teaching method is to find gaps in your learning and to build that bridge of Mathematical confidence. I will use simple ideas and concepts to break to down more complex ones. I am very enthusiastic and will cater to your pace no matter what level you are on. Lessons are made fun and interactive.
I always try to engage my students as much as possible, and endeavour to allow them to discover things themselves
I use easy to learn techniques offering tuition classes in an easy to understand manner using simple learning techniques meeting individual needs. I can guarantee that the most complex questions can be conveyed so that my students are able to have a good grasp of the knowledge.
I explain kids through textbooks, online sheets, homework and videos that will make it easier to understand and I use many other ways to make children learn the subject and also provide them support and help when they need it.
Going through how the student learns best first, then concentrating on the weaker aspects of the students knowledge. In my opinion practice and going through past paper questions are key, but these are to be used after the methodology is embedded into the mind. With sciences such as Biology I concentrate on the key processes and cycles alongside the maths and terminology.
I like to teach sudents independantly. I go through the content first to then practice questions from past papers or textbooks.
I am passionate about teaching Maths to younger people of all skills and abilities. With my natural skill in teaching, combined with desire to support and be patient during the learning process, I am able to help young people in grasping the concepts of Primary and Secondary Maths and thereby achieving much improved results.
I follow different methodologies depending on how you learn and what suits you better as different individuals learn in different methods and times.
I want to understand how much each student knows and then go over each topic they are struggling in.
I am Vasiliki Tzouti and I enjoy teaching children, teens and teenagers of primary and secondary school ages. I have studied Mathematics at the University of Athens and I am specialized in mathematics education. I have been doing mathematics in the form of private tutoring for four years.
My teaching method is tailored to suit my students needs. I base my teaching on the key objectives of the courses requirement and exam papers so that the student is well prepared.

I'm offering lessons to primary, secondary and AS level Maths students. I am a gap year student and recently completed my A levels in Maths, Geography and Economics. My lessons are structured by firstly outlining objectives tailored to the specification of your course.
I am a third year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Bristol (UK), with a passion for Maths and Physics. I hope to share my knowledge and experience with you so you can gain a fundamental understanding of them, from primary level up to A-level.
I can teach maths or biology at Gcse , Primary or Alevel. I have previously taught 2 students through their maths and science GCSE . When i started teaching them they were at a C grade and came out with an A /A*.
