In mathematics, I approach each topic by learning the rules and steps required in order to solve a certain problem. This is exactly what I would expect my student to be able to do as well; with the right guidance, this can be achieved. Lesson Structure: 1. Talk student through the topic and explain the concepts and rules needed to solve the problems at hand. 2.
I have a Bachelors with Honours Degree in Mathematics and can teach the following topics: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Arithmetic, Analysis (Real and Complex), Number Theory, Logic, Set Theory, Differential Equations (Ordinary and Partial), Linear Algebra, Basic Statistics and Probability, Numerical Methods and Knot Theory (which I did my Bachelors dissertation on).
My teaching method is to work closely with the student on a personal level and find out where they’re at with their education. I find out where their weaknesses are and base the lessons on these topics. I have been tutoring students for over a year in maths GCSE as well as younger years. I am currently taking maths for A-level and got an A* in higher Maths for GCSE.
I like to first build a strong foundation for my students and slowly introduce more difficult concepts as they become more confident.
I recently finished an A Level in Physics and I am able to tutor GCSE and A Level students. I am kind and keen to help out with any problems students have with Physics. Students are in charge with how they wish the lesson to be carried out. It can take the form of a Q and A session or a detailed overview of a particular topic.
My teaching methodology depends types of learners: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. Each learning type responds best to a different method of teaching. Auditory learners will remember information best after reciting it back to the presenter, while kinesthetic learners will jump at the chance to participate in a hands-on activity.
My teaching expertise lies with GCSE students. Students in younger years are also welcomed. My teaching method is to find gaps in your learning and to build that bridge of Mathematical confidence. I will use simple ideas and concepts to break to down more complex ones. I am very enthusiastic and will cater to your pace no matter what level you are on. Lessons are made fun and interactive.
I usually plan my lesson in advance. I prepare the topic that would be covered during the lesson. I use board to explain the topic with example. Encourage student to ask questions. Do some exercise to make sure student have good understanding about the topic and give them some homework at the end of the lesson. I also provide feedback on their homework.
I always try to engage my students as much as possible, and endeavour to allow them to discover things themselves
I use easy to learn techniques offering tuition classes in an easy to understand manner using simple learning techniques meeting individual needs. I can guarantee that the most complex questions can be conveyed so that my students are able to have a good grasp of the knowledge.
I explain kids through textbooks, online sheets, homework and videos that will make it easier to understand and I use many other ways to make children learn the subject and also provide them support and help when they need it.
Going through how the student learns best first, then concentrating on the weaker aspects of the students knowledge. In my opinion practice and going through past paper questions are key, but these are to be used after the methodology is embedded into the mind. With sciences such as Biology I concentrate on the key processes and cycles alongside the maths and terminology.
I current teach Yr 7 (at school) However I teach Year 6 to Year 9 outside of my workplace. I like to start my lessons with an icebreaker (song, game) and i like to end on a recap. I am very patient and passionate about learning. I believe education is important and we sometimes need to make it fun. So some lessons we may focus on worksheets and some may be practical (using objects etc).
My teaching method is going through the specification from the start. My first step is asking the student making notes from videos that i will provide.my next step is developing knowledge and asking student questions. Then giving exam question.
I like to know what my students are studying in before hand so i can prepare the lesson and make sure i have all the resources on hand and ready to teach the student. I teach all KS1, KS2 in all subjects, maths, science and english and alos can teach upto GCSE maths.
I enjoy changing methods of learning to make it interactive and fun.
Mostly I prefer one-to-one sessions with my students starting with their weak points, i always want my students to be one step forward in excelling their maths skills according to their curriculum.

I like to teach sudents independantly. I go through the content first to then practice questions from past papers or textbooks.
I have past experice in tutoring students who have acheived good GCSE grades. I have done so by only focusing my tutoring on the topics students do not understand. I am quick to get to the point but do so by asking questions that allow students to think and try to get to an answer themselves.
