About Ian
I attend a selective public school in New York City, and I'll be studying Computer Science at Oxford University next fall. I've been teaching myself Computer Science for five years, with three years of formal education. I won first place in the Congressional App Challenge in 2020, and I won first place in the Code Next Hackathon in the same year. I maintain and develop a website used by thousands of students and teachers, and I'm fluent in several widely used programming languages including C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Rust, PHP, HTML+CSS, & Haskell.

I have experience designing and building websites that reach thousands of users, and have won awards for independent projects of mine. I help students learn concepts relating to how computers work and how to think about programming.
I'm happy to help students learn other STEM skills as well, including Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Physics.
