About Natalia

I grew up in London and attended Westminster School completing 4 Pre-Us in English Literature, Spanish, French and Art History. I achieved the Highest Distinction Award (D1) in English Literature and Spanish, and a Distinction (D3) in French and Art History. Subsequently, I attended Oxford University where I read English Literature and Language. Whilst studying for my degree, I began tutoring students English. As I began teaching, I had a few students with learning differences and SEN. This led me to learning to accommodate their differences and became an especially fascinating and important focus point in my teaching. As someone with dyslexia I was keenly aware of the difficulties neurodivergent students face in the educational world. I therefore seek to bolster them academically to build their confidence and self-esteem - both academically and personally. Whilst tutoring, I have also studied for a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Bar Vocational Course. I am also a native Spanish speaker.

I am a Private Tutor of English Literature and English Language, working with students from primary level through to A-Level and university preparation, including 11+, 13+, GCSE, and A-Level tuition. My teaching is academically rigorous, highly personalised, and designed to foster intellectual confidence, precision of expression, and long-term academic excellence. I have extensive experience supporting students through selective school entrance examinations, including 11+ and 13+, where I focus on developing strong foundational skills in reading comprehension, writing, and verbal reasoning, while also nurturing clarity of thought and confidence under examination conditions. At GCSE and A-Level, I guide students in mastering both content and technique, with particular emphasis on close textual analysis, structured argument, and sophisticated written expression. Lessons are carefully tailored to the requirements of each examination board while maintaining high academic standards. I also specialise in Oxbridge admissions for English, supporting students through written work preparation and interview training, with a focus on cultivating independent critical thinking, academic maturity, and intellectual curiosity. Alongside academic tuition, I offer specialist, discreet support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. My approach is structured, strengths-based, and intellectually ambitious, ensuring students are supported without compromising academic rigour. Learning is delivered in clear, incremental steps, adapted to each student’s individual profile. I work in close partnership with parents, maintaining professional and consistent communication, and providing considered guidance on academic progression. For my older students my lessons are usually between 1 hour to 2 hours. For younger students or those with SEN I run shorter lessons from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on their concentration span. My aim is to create a calm, focused, and aspirational learning environment in which students can flourish academically and personally.
