About Kate

I have taught art, environmental education and social studies in museums, nature centers and private and public schools. I have also worked as an exhibit developer, conceptualizing interactive science, art and history exhibits and programs for museums and other cultural institutions.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is in line with progressive models of education. I look for entry points for each student according to their current interests and knowledge. Using these entry points, I guide and scaffold their learning. My approach is child centered.
