About Susmita
Hello!! I am Ms. Susmita. With a strong professional background in Early Childhood Education, I have spent years helping young children build confidence, curiosity, and fine motor skills. Alongside my dedication to core teaching, my lifelong passion has been the Fine Arts- specifically sketching, watercolors, and acrylic canvas painting. I have extensive experience sharing this passion with children ranging from age 5 all the way up to middle school. I am deeply committed to providing a patient, supportive environment where your child can confidently discover their creative spark!

Welcome to a safe, warm, and inspiring space where everyone is born an artist! At PAINTS & BRUSHES ART ACADEMY, I break down complex fine art techniques into fun, encouraging, step-by-step guidance. Art isn't about being "perfect" - it's about learning new skills, practicing patience, and celebrating unique ideas.
My structured curriculum is customized by developmental age groups and covers:
~ BASICS OF DRAWING: Creating foundational shapes, sketching 3D letters, understanding stickman rules, line of actions, shading, using grids, and still-life drawing.
~ ACRYLIC & CANVAS PAINTING: setting up clean workshop space, color mixing, fluid background blending, canvas texture painting, and beautiful scenery.
~ Core Elements of Art: Comprehensive line concept, 2D vs. 3D spatial alignment, color theory, value form, texture, and space concepts.
I keep classes highly engaging, positive, and structured so that every child leaves proud of their masterpiece.
