I’m a college student with a strong background in English. I passed both AP English Language and AP Literature in high school and have completed two advanced English courses in college. I love working with kids and helping them grow more confident in reading, writing, and communication. My goal is to make learning fun, approachable, and tailored to each student’s needs!

My Tutoring Approach
As a tutor, I believe in making English both approachable and enjoyable. My teaching method is interactive and student-centered—I combine structured lessons with creative exercises like games, storytelling, and writing prompts to keep kids engaged while reinforcing key skills like grammar, reading comprehension, and vocabulary.
Typical Lesson Plan
A standard lesson starts with a warm-up activity to review previous material, followed by a short reading or writing task. We then dive into a focused skill—like sentence structure or literary analysis—using examples tailored to the student’s interests or current schoolwork. I finish each session with a quick recap and optional take-home practice to reinforce learning.
What Sets Me Apart
What makes me different is my ability to connect with students on their level. As someone who recently excelled in AP English Language and Literature and is currently excelling in college-level English, I bring both a strong academic foundation and a fresh, relatable perspective. I understand what schools expect and know how to break that down for younger learners in a way that’s easy to understand and fun.
