About Gurleen
I want to teach not only because I am passionate about my subject but also because I believe learning gives you skills that are used in daily life, analytical and problem solving but also empathy. With a subject like English Literature, having empathy for characters is key to understanding the author's intention. I want to open the world of literature to students

I firmly believe in understanding when it comes to learning so I will always ensure any questions are answered and that I follow a logical pattern of teaching that's easy to keep up with whilst completing content. I have tutored for 2 years whilst being a student in A levels, after my English Literature A level I can say my knowledge of the subject is broad and I'm always willing to alter my style of teaching for students
