About Matthew
Matthew is an aspiring Philadelphia artist wanting to support others in their art journeys. Matthew is available to teach, support, or keep company during artistic projects or learning something new. Matthew’s approach to teaching is through mutual understanding, a calm demeanor, and being flexible to the wants/needs of the student. His art often shows bright and vivid colors, trans-masc symbolism, character design, anime and cartoon inspiration, and fiber arts such as crochet and knitting. Matthew is open to any kind of support, and will always have an open mind! Matthew is open to tutoring anyone of any age, whether you want some guidance for a college portfolio, or just someone to create art with.

Matthew is flexible in creating a lesson plan, or to go with whatever the student feels that particular session. Matthew loves these mediums and feels comfortable teaching or supporting in: watercolor, markers, crochet, knitting, digital drawing, colored pencil, sketchbook drawing, and print making. His art is inspired by cartoons, anime, manga, and video games, with a huge focus on vivid color theory.
Matthew is currently available week days and afternoons, with Saturday availability during the summer-time.
