About Maysn
Hi, I’m Maysn! I’m a friendly, patient and passionate tutor with over three years of experience working with primary and high school students. I have worked both independently and through Art of Smart, providing personalized academic support and helping students develop their knowledge, skills and confidence.
I completed high school in 2021, have completed a diploma and am currently studying a Bachelor's degree. I have a particular passion for Biology, Health and Psychology, and I enjoy making complex topics easier to understand and more interesting for students.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my lessons to their individual needs and learning style. I aim to create a comfortable, supportive and judgment-free environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through challenging topics.
Whether a student needs help understanding new content, catching up on missed work, preparing for an assessment or building their exam skills, I will work with them at their own pace and towards their individual goals.
I offer Biology tutoring for students of all year levels, with lessons available online or in Melbourne.

I take a personalised, patient and supportive approach to Biology tutoring. I understand that Biology can involve a lot of new terminology and complex concepts, so I focus on making topics easier to understand by breaking them down into smaller sections and connecting them to real-life examples.
I use a combination of clear explanations, diagrams, worked examples, practice questions, discussion and exam-style questions. I also encourage students to explain concepts in their own words, as this helps identify gaps in understanding and builds confidence.
Lessons are generally 60 minutes, but the length can be adjusted depending on the student's age, learning needs and goals.
I have over three years of tutoring experience, working with both primary and high school students as a self-employed tutor and through Art of Smart. I completed high school in 2021, have completed a diploma and am currently studying a Bachelor's degree. I have a particular passion for Biology, Health and Psychology.
I offer Biology support for all year levels where Biology is part of the curriculum, from students who are being introduced to biological concepts through to senior high school students preparing for assessments and exams. Lessons can be tailored to students who need help understanding current topics, catching up on content, completing practice questions or preparing for exams.
Lessons are available online or in Melbourne.
