About Lauren
Hi folks! I first picked up a camera at the age of 12 and flash forward and I've completed my goals of finishing my degree and creating a 365 day project! Graduated with a 2:1, 100% and A* at A-level and also another A* at GCSE in photography.
I began tutoring when my GCSE teacher asked me to help other's reach their own potential and my passion for teaching went from there. I have past experience of working with adults with learning difficulties and children from ages to 8-17, art is universal - and if anyone is struggling with theory based work at A-level/GCSE I am here to give you my all, no matter what learning style! :)

My teaching style varies - because art varies!
Per lesson it's great to set each session as a practical and a theory based. This is a common mistake with photography, theory is key to your development and understanding of art.
I am always personal, visual, and will continue to poke you for your point of view and understanding of the topic of choice, finding your own understanding and how you present this is very important with a GCSE/A-Level structure.
No quiz's! I am here to go through your work with you, at your pace, with no PRESSURE. I can help with the editing and development stage, photoshop, creating a plan and working on presentation etc - together we can heighten your understanding to give you the best experience! :)

I have personally watched Laurens talent in photography progress over the years and can happily say she has always had an eye for the perfect photograph.
