I approach learning in a student-centered, relevant, engaging way. Students need to see the value in what they are learning in order to truly care, so I make sure to be clear and thorough. I am well versed in creating curriculum that centers nonfiction and fiction writing, ACT/SAT test prep passages and grammar, as well as reading intervention. A typical lesson will start with an overview and guided practice, then independent practice with real-time feedback in order to strengthen skills meaningfully.
