About Peter
Hi! I'm Pete, a science and Maths tutor based in West London. I've been tutoring full time for 6 years and my previous roles have included Head of Maths and Senior Curriculum Manager at some of London's most exclusive tutoring colleges. I've worked with a diverse group of students, ranging from top academics to students facing some of the most challenging circumstances. To date, all my students have been accepted into their first school of choice or achieved at least one grade above their current prediction. I've developed an educational framework for a huge variety of student needs, including; learning difficulties, English as a foreign language and scholarship applications; as well as many other unique requirements. An effective framework should ultimately help students to help them selves! I feel one of my key roles as a tutor is in building solid relationships. I love meeting students for the first time and finding out exactly what is is they like and dislike about their current education. From here, we can work together to produce a set of shared goals, enabling our lessons to be as effective as possible. In a nut shell - I'm passionate about my work, find it hugely rewarding and believe that every student has the right to the very best education!

I was accepted to university on a full sports scholarship. I was the under 20 national sabre champion and have represented Great Britain at numerous international events - including the world championships. I have held a top 20 world sabre ranking.

I would thoroughly recommend Peter as a tutor. My daughter gained a B in her GCSE Maths, a grade higher than expected after four hours tuition. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons and Peter gave her a lot of confidence in her own ability. I would rate him as 5 out of 5.
Pete is a natural teacher, full of enthusiasm for his subject, and he is also a wonderful communicator. My son was not interested in studying for his GCSE s, but Peter gave him confidence, inspiration and direction. He also made even the driest subjects fun and interesting. I highly recommend him.
Pete has the ability to adapt very quickly to his pupil’s level and identify the things that need fine-tuning. His lessons were very thorough and lively. He is incredibly patient and involved. He was also a pleasure to have living with us.
