About Ariana
Hi, I'm Ariana! I'm currently studying towards a degree in speech therapy, and I bring the same care, patience and attention to detail from that field into my tutoring. I have experience tutoring both primary and high school students, helping them build strong foundations, work through challenging content, and prepare confidently for assessments.
I take my role as a tutor seriously — every lesson is planned with the student's specific needs in mind, and I'm committed to being reliable, well-prepared and easy to communicate with. At the same time, I believe learning works best when it's relaxed and interactive rather than rigid or stressful, so I focus on creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes along the way.
I bring genuine care and enthusiasm to every lesson, because I want students to understand their work and grow in confidence, not just get through it. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying on top of schoolwork, or preparing for exams, I bring consistency, patience and dedication to every session.

My approach to tutoring is centred on meeting each student where they are and building from there. Lessons are conducted in English and adapted to each student's own pace, rather than following a fixed structure — some sessions focus on strengthening foundational knowledge, while others dive into new content, worked examples, homework help, or exam preparation. My background as a speech-therapy student gives me a strong grounding in how people process and communicate information, which helps me explain concepts clearly and pick up on where a student might be struggling, even when they haven't said so directly.
A typical lesson might include working through tricky homework problems, breaking down new content step by step with worked examples, or tackling past exam papers to build confidence and exam technique. I take a patient, interactive approach, encouraging students to ask questions and think through problems themselves rather than simply being given answers.
My lessons are aimed at both primary and high school students, whether they need help keeping up with schoolwork, catching up on gaps, or preparing thoroughly for upcoming assessments. Above all, I believe learning should never feel like a chore. When lessons are relaxed, interactive and genuinely tailored to a student's needs, understanding comes more naturally — and so does confidence. My goal isn't just to help students pass, but to help them actually enjoy the process of learning.
