About Annabelle
As a student myself, I understand the struggle and difficulties that are experienced. At a young age I was diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental disability known as ADHD. Rather than let this hinder my education, I worked closely with my mom to discover alternative methods of learning to help me stay on-par. English came naturally to me. In kindergarten I was already reading at a middle school level, my mom helping to fuel my love of reading and literature. In my early years, I attended a Montessori school which is an alternative style of learning, set up in a way where students would help and mentor each other. I greatly enjoyed helping my peers understand and learn what I had already mastered. Despite my ADHD, I am gifted, which makes me, as some like to say, "double-exceptional". I am currently enrolled in my junior year of high school taking a college level English course which I greatly enjoy. I am very passionate about English and would love to work with students enrolled (or soon to be enrolled in) pre-k through 10th honors courses. Having a teacher as a mother, I have been taught to greatly value education and I would love to help instill this value in others!

I love using creative methods to teach and help others with what so easily comes to me so it can come easily to them as well! While being a student myself and learning the curriculums set forth for me, I've also learned various teaching methods that prove effective and that I commonly use to help myself and others. As well as discovering these methods for myself, I have had an English teaching mother who has taught for 30+ years a variety of English subjects, leading to deeper understanding and comprehension, but also mastery of these topics.
