About Nekoda
Hello! My name is Nekoda, and I am from Durban, South Africa. I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA) because I have a genuine passion for teaching and helping others learn.
I have worked as a Teacher Assistant at two primary schools, where I gained valuable experience supporting learners, preparing lessons, and creating a positive classroom environment. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting my teaching style to meet each student's unique needs.
I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and believe that learning English can create exciting opportunities for education, work, and travel. My goal is to help students feel confident using English in everyday life through engaging, supportive, and enjoyable lessons.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and continuously learning new skills to become a better educator.
