About Semanthelee
I am a patient, caring and dedicated tutor with experience working with children of different ages and learning abilities. I have worked as an ECD teacher, classroom teacher, private tutor and online tutor.
I am passionate about helping children understand their schoolwork and become more confident in themselves. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged and supported, so I always try to create a positive and relaxed learning environment.
I have experience assisting learners with homework, reading, English, basic Maths, test preparation and general academic support. I am especially patient with children who need concepts explained more than once or who need a little extra encouragement.
For me, tutoring is not only about improving marks. It is also about helping a learner discover that they are capable of learning and succeeding.
I am reliable, friendly and committed to giving each learner the individual attention they need.

My lessons are friendly, patient and adapted to each learner’s individual needs. I believe that every child learns differently, so I take the time to understand where they need support and help them build confidence in their abilities.
I can assist with homework, reading, English, basic Maths, test preparation and general schoolwork. I explain concepts step by step and make sure the learner understands before moving on.
My goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of making mistakes. Lessons can be adapted according to the learner’s age, school level and specific areas where they need extra help.
With my experience in ECD, tutoring and working with children, I enjoy helping learners grow academically while also developing confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
